[There’s something decidedly earnest about the whole set up- Kaiji's turned fully towards the NV, all the lights are switched on and he’s staring determinedly ahead, not letting his gaze waver. On the table are a beer can and a near-empty ash tray but other than that, it's just him. This is something he needs to do.

[Compared to his previous broadcasts, Kaiji sounds more than a little reserved. [The feed is partially obscured by discarded ties and at an odd angle where the NV’s been pushed aside but it’s easy enough to work out that it’s outside a row of changing room cubicles. Waiting by one of them is Tonegawa, who is tapping his foot impatiently and frowning.]

[Apparently Kaiji took something away from his last venture since he kept his NV safely out of the room during his late-night self-pitying alcohol binge this time. Now it's morning, he just looks very hung-over and very fed up, neither of which are doing much for his new appearance. [The normally tidy table is strewn with discarded cans of cheap beer and overflowing ash trays. [Kaiji’s voice wavers between sounding too far away and way too close when it's not entirely overwhelmed by static, like that of someone who not only doesn’t know how close to stand to a microphone, but didn't set it up right either. Even so, there’s no mistaking the anger in his voice.]
